Find the Bestsellers There were parts of this book that I really liked, especially this little quips or quotes that seemed to be "myth busters" about the relationship between a mother and child. The characters were loveable, and the setting was nice--I particularly enjoy reading about foreign cities and traveling vicariously through the characters. Some parts of the story were a bit unbelievable, like one of the characters running off to sleep with someone she met the day before after spending five plus years with the only man she'd ever slept with (and was currently engaged to...), but overall it was enjoyable and actually made me feel better about the relationship I have with my own mother.
